About the Artist
I was born to bohemian parents, both talented, professional artists. Growing up, I could draw and paint well but rebelled against fine art, preferring crafts. I learned jewelry making, beadwork, and clothing design.
After my mother's death, I wanted to try painting, as my mother had always encouraged me to, as a way to feel closer to her and to heal my sadness.
I re-found that natural childhood ability and decided to stay with it.
After disappointing experiences working with art galleries, I decided to venture away from the "art world" independently. I now have complete creative freedom to experiment with any art subject in any style I prefer.
